The SDK comes bundled with Xcode 12.2, available from the Mac App Store.
This is similar to many other note-taking programs available, but the many options for organizing and grouping notes means that it is very likely you can find a system that works well for you within this program.Įditors' note: This is a review of the trial version of NoteCard for Mac 1.0.1. The macOS 11 SDK provides support to develop apps for Macs running macOS Big Sur 11. The full version is $7.99 and provides much more versatility and many more options. NoteCard for Mac is free to try, although the unregistered version only allows you to create three cards at a time. Pages tabs increase options for keeping information concise and organized within one note card. Notes can also be exported and imported as plain text documents, and you can easily drag them from one sheet to another. Notes are saved automatically as long as they are left open, but if you want to close a card, you will have to save it the same way you would save any other document.
The interface for this app is intuitive and quick to learn. You can experiment with manipulating these sample notes or just skip the introduction and get started making your own notes. Each of these notes explains one of the features the program offers. The first time you open NoteCard for Mac, you will be greeted with a sheet containing several sample notes. Notes can also be minimized to save space and you can move multiple notes around on one sheet or create a new sheet for a new project. You can then organize these notes into stacks or drag them to the edge of the screen to create a tab that you can expand again later. NoteCard for Mac allows you to create multiple cards containing lists, ideas, or anything else you want to write down so you don't forget.
